Hydrangea macrophylla 'Miss Saori' is a new selection of mophead hydrangea from Japan with amazing dark red foliage color and exceptional pink and white variegated flowers that have double the bloom petals than most hydrangea. The contrast creates a stunning display that won this hydrangea the honor of 2014 Plant of the Year at the Chelsea Flower show. This selection by Ryoji Irie was bred and named after his fiancé, now his wife. 'Miss Saori' may reach 3-4 ft and 3-4 ft in width. Pruning in late fall can be used to control the size of most hydrangea. 'Miss Saori' is sure to add a lot of flare to your garden.
